"Setting the pace for upcoming bands after them, Echo Revolution have an intensely creative way of putting feelings to words, and letting it be perceived as art, as well.” (Ariel Musiel, OneTimesOne.com, 2005). With a sound described as a cross between the quirky edged art guitar thrust of Pavement, Television, or Wire and the brooding dark melodic intensity of Bowie or The Cure, Echo Revolution presents “"pop at its very best”...going up into the clouds and taking a trip around, vocals swooping in, cymbals washing, and then gears changing."

Comprised of Lee Harding (vocals, guitar), Mark Knoll (keyboards, backing vocals), Charles Welty (bass guitar), Mark Sturino (lead guitar), and Nate Schaedler (drums), Echo Revolution has been playing throughout San Diego and Los Angeles since late 2002 at venues such as the Belly Up Tavern, Casbah, Blind Melons, Hard Rock Cafe, Kensington Club, and the Key Club on Sunset.

Nominated in the 2006 Southern California Music Awards for "Best Rock" band, Echo Revolution has already released two CDs, with a third on its way in the summer of 2006. Echo Revolution's debut CD (entitled "Aura"), released in May 2003, received airplay on internet, public, college, and Sirius satellite radio across the country; received honorable mentions in the Billboard World Song contest and VH1-sponsered Song of the Year contest; and was licensed to Bunim-Murray Productions for MTV. Echo Revolution was also regularly featured on the "Lord Litter" show in Germany and played on international radio in nine European countries.

"In the Wire," their second full-length album, was released in June 2005. Recorded in San Diego, California from 2003 to 2004 by Alan Sanderson (Weezer, Rolling Stones) and Mike Kamoo (the Stereotypes, Silver Sunshine), and mastered at Gateway Mastering Studios by Adam Ayan (Dave Mathews Band, Pearl Jam, REM). "In the Wire" presents eight original songs plus a rendition of Lou Reed's "Satellite of Love". Since being released, "In the Wire" has already been played on local (San Diego) commercial radio and several episodes of MTV's Real World and The Gauntlet II.

Echo Revolution's upcoming third album, "A Safe Place to Start," is set for release in September 2007. Working once again with Alan Sanderson, the album features inspired tunes like "Mend Me," and "Come Down." Upon release, a nationwide college radio and regional publicity campaign is planned in anticipation of a winter 2007 west coast U.S. tour. The band expects limited European dates to follow in the Spring 2008.
